The Total Lunar Eclipse of December 21, 2010

A series of images taken of the total lunar eclipse that occurred on December 21, 2010. Clouds obscured the early partial phase but largely got out of the way for totality and the late partial phase.

Announcer: Frostbite Theater presents... Cold Cuts! No baloney!

Joanna and Steve: Just science!

All exposures were taken with an unmodified Canon 20D at the prime focus of a 6" f/9 Richey-Chrétien astrograph mounted on a Celestron CGEM equatorial mount. Images were shot from Carrollton, Virginia.
