Beam Enclosure Level Walk to the North Linear Accelerator Injector Cryomodules West Arc North Access Receiving Area

Each pipe that you see contains part of the electron beam. Most of those electrons have just finished going around the West Arc although, if you look closely, you can see a pipe near the floor that has come from the injector.

The blue boxes are electromagnets that are used to put all of the electrons back into one pipe. This isn't as easy as it sounds since each time an electron goes around the accelerator, it gets more energy and becomes harder to steer.
