North Linear Accelerator Tunnel Construction - March 1989

March 1, 1989: North West Tunnel Arc at the intersection with the North Linear Accelerator and Injector. The North Labyrinth and the lift shaft for the North Access Building are visible just above the center of the photo. The framework for the Machine Control Center is visible in the upper right corner.

This tour reflects Jefferson Lab as it was in the late 1990s and early 2000s. In particular, this predates the 12 GeV upgrade and the addition of Hall D. For a modern look at the Lab, please see the Jeffeson Lab Virtual Tour.
