Nitrogen doping in niobium SRF cavities is conducted by heating the cavities at high temperatures inside of a furnace in the presence of nitrogen, following the removal of unwanted nitride through electropolishing. The temperature dependence of the nitrogen diffusion profile on niobium was calculated and compared with some existing experimental data and the activation energy values were changed at each temperature. The results showed that activation energy varies slightly with respect to the different data sets. The diffusion environment and niobium surface may play a role in nitrogen diffusion in niobium.
